Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Utility Worker - Plumbing - Maintenance to perform routine maintenance, repairs and installations across district facilities. This full-time role (40 hours per week) offers a base hourly wage of $17.12 and a benefits package including vacation, sick leave, holidays, ASRS retirement matching, health and life insurance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school education or equivalent, a valid Arizona driver's license and prior maintenance experience; must be

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Valid Arizona driver's license.
• Experience in the maintenance field.

Responsibilities

• Travel district-wide assisting journeymen with tasks.
• Perform maintenance, repairs and installations not requiring journeyman skills.
• Rotate between operations shops as directed.
• Maintain regular and on-time attendance.
• Assist with other duties to support the maintenance area.
• Support Mesa Public Schools as assigned.
