Job summary

Yespac in New Jersey is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Industrial Mechanic Technician to join our manufacturing facility. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of equipment to keep production lines running and downtime to a minimum.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components; diagnose issues with schematics and CMMS; and collaborate with engineering on upgrades.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing facilities with industrial maintenance.
• Electrical troubleshooting and blueprint reading.
• HVAC/R, hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience.
• PLCs and electrical systems repair.
• Ability to use ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
• Bilingual capability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.


• Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.


• Conduct electrical diagnostics utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments to identify faults in electrical systems and high voltage components.


• Repair or replace faulty parts on equipment such as motors, conveyors, HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and other industrial machinery.


• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate repairs and maintenance procedures.


• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.


• Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades or modifications and support field service activities when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical systems.


• Demonstrated expertise with electrical troubleshooting, electrical blueprint reading, and electrical systems repair.


• Hands‑on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulic machinery, pneumatic systems troubleshooting, welding ( welding if applicable), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).


• Familiarity with industrial electrician practices including low voltage and high voltage electrical work.


• Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools accurately.


• Knowledge of schematics interpretation for complex mechanical and electrical systems.


• Experience with equipment troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment using CMMS software.


• Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures quickly and efficiently.


• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and non‑technical personnel alike.


• Relevant certifications in electrical maintenance or industrial mechanic experience preferred; military background is a plus.


• Most have experience in industrial, manufacturing machine preferred plastic extrusion.


• Most be Bilingual.
