Job summary

U.S. Sugar is seeking a salaried-exempt Maintenance Planner/Supervisor reporting to the Central Warehouse Manager.

The role will create a maintenance control function to identify and rectify maintenance problems before equipment failure, plan labor, materials, and safety requirements, and coordinate with contractors and Corporate Services. The incumbent will reduce maintenance costs by cutting downtime, improving reliability, increasing capacity, and enhancing product quality, while complying

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience as a skilled tradesperson.
Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently.
Post-secondary education preferred; CMRP or similar certification is an advantage.
Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning is required.
Must pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule maintenance work including labor, materials, and tools.
Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Coordinate with contractors and internal departments to execute plans.
Create reports and dashboards to track maintenance costs and performance.
Identify and reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability and product quality.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
