Job summary

United States Sugar Corporation is seeking a Reliability Excellence Manager to lead maintenance reliability initiatives within the plant and report to the VP of Raw Sugar Manufacturing. This role focuses on eliminating repetitive failures, providing technical support, and driving preventive and predictive maintenance programs to sustain asset reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent supervisory maintenance experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of reliability supervision in industrial operations.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems with predictive/preventive maintenance experience.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations; proficient in maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules for plant equipment and machinery.
• Supervise and lead Reliability Engineers, Technicians, and related staff; evaluate performance.
• Develop reliability plans to support operations and product development with safety focus.
• Analyze failures and corrective actions to respond to issues and improve reliability.
• Maintain records and report maintenance activities and equipment status to management.
• Utilize SAP Work Order system to manage tasks and track progress.
