Job summary

Oxy is seeking a Maintenance Planner to drive SAP-based maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution for oil & gas operations in Midland, Texas. This role collaborates with field operations, project teams, and cross-functional groups to ensure work is properly scoped and prioritized.

You will validate data, coordinate with Finance and Supply Chain, and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement. The position requires strong analytical skills and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Accounting, Math).
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning and oil & gas operations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and prioritize SAP notifications and work requests.
• Develop detailed job plans, including labor, materials, and sequencing of activities.
• Coordinate and support scheduling and execution of planned maintenance work.
• Interface with Finance, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, and vendors to ensure accuracy and smooth workflow.
• Lead planning and scheduling meetings, communicating priorities and risks to stakeholders.
