Job summary

Minerals Technologies Inc. in Adams, MA is seeking a Maintenance Planning Supervisor to oversee maintenance planning, estimation, and scheduling across shifts. The role focuses on ensuring available facilities, parts, tools, and manpower to execute work efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams, develop schedules, and drive improvements to PM programs while reporting on performance and costs.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree with 5 years’ mechanic experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree and supervisor experience are strongly preferred.
• Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance work by detailing steps, parts, tools, and time for each task.
• Schedule PM work orders and ensure proper frequency execution.
• Coordinate parts procurement and material availability for work orders.
• Maintain backlog of planned work and track requisitions.
• Lead and train maintenance staff and ensure safety procedures.
• Monitor performance metrics and improve the PM program.
