Job summary

BestCo LLC in Mooresville, NC, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Planning Supervisor to lead a world-class maintenance team and optimize planning, scheduling, and MRO activities on site.

You will drive CMMS implementation, ensure asset availability, and partner with engineering and production to align PM tasks with OEM recommendations and RCA findings.

This role requires strong leadership, SAP knowledge, and a proven track record in preventive maintenance within the food or manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10 years of industrial maintenance or similar experience.
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, purchasing, MRO management, contractor management, and/or CMMS development.
• 5 years developing preventive maintenance programs.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong root cause analysis, multi-tasking, time management, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
• Working knowledge of equipment, materials, tools used in the food industry.
• Familiarity with CMMS and budgeting and cost centers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain best-practice procedures for maintenance planning, sourcing, and scheduling.
• Lead CMMS integration and ensure effective implementation with vendors.
• Ensure parts availability prior to scheduling work and oversee work orders.
• Coordinate with maintenance leadership to align PM tasks with OEM and RCA findings.
• Track PM findings and maintain PM scorecards.
• Develop PM task durations for scheduling.
• Align asset availability with production plans.
• Develop MRO processes, parts kitting strategies.
• Manage cycle count program and MRO scorecard.
• Monitor contractor compliance with HSE, quality, and finance procedures.
• Improve PO generation and resolve blocked invoices with AP.
