Job summary

Perrigo seeks a Maintenance Planner to lead planning, scheduling and execution of work orders at the Allegan, MI site. You will develop and maintain job plans, ensuring availability of tools and resources, and guide technicians and contractors to complete PMs on time.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with 5 years in operations or manufacturing, preferably in FDA/GMP settings. SAP experience is preferred, and a related trade credential is a plus.

Qualifications

• Leadership, communication, organizational, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED with progress towards an associate or bachelor’s degree; SAP preferred.
• Trade certification recognized by the Department of Labor in a related field is preferred but not required.
• 5 years of experience in operations/manufacturing, with preference for FDA-regulated/GMP environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan jobs to ensure tools and resources are available to complete work orders.
• Create and update job plans to maintain an accurate job library.
• Use scheduled Work Orders and PMs to direct workflow and ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed.
• Track emergency and planned work orders and address chronic issues.
• Collaborate with facilities, engineering and operations on capital projects affecting equipment; support PMs, spare parts inventories, training and drawings.
• Assist with validation or quality concerns.
