Job summary

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Maintenance Technical Support to join a gas and electric company in Wheatfield, IN. This is a 12-month contract with potential extensions, offering a competitive pay rate on a W2 contract with limited benefits.

The role supports maintenance planning, procedure development, and technical issue resolution under the current Maintenance Supervisor. Applicants must have 4+ years in maintenance within power plant environments and be able to

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Maintenance or related Engineering discipline, preferably in power plant environments.
Strong safety discipline and ability to follow environmental and procedural standards.
Experience with predictive maintenance techniques and multiple maintenance disciplines.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe work environment and conduct pre-job safety briefs.
Coordinate with supervisors to develop repair strategies and maintenance schedules.
Develop budget requests for equipment maintenance and capital improvements.
Forecast department expenses and track expenditures to stay within budget.
Respond to emergency calls as needed and supervise maintenance staff.
