Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in maintenance, engineering, power plant operations, or related technical discipline.
• Strong technical background in power plant equipment, systems, and operations.
• Instrumentation and controls background.
• Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
• Ability to utilize predictive maintenance techniques such as thermography, vibration analysis, ultrasound, and tribology.
• Understanding of maintenance management processes.
• Ability to manage several projects at one time.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Wheatfield, IN.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance processes and procedures with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Provide technical support to maintenance personnel, operations teams, and plant leadership.
• Answer technical questions related to plant equipment and maintenance timing.
• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, work practices, and technical guidance.
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance practices, planning processes, and equipment reliability procedures.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Plant Management on repair strategies.
• Assist operating departments with equipment monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Develop budget requests for plant equipment and systems maintenance and capital improvements.
• Forecast expenses on a monthly basis.
• Train employees on tools, machinery, procedures, and safe work practices.
