Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Maintenance Planner for a plant group. Under the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor, you will plan and organize maintenance jobs, manage work orders, and optimize preventive maintenance using SAP CMMS.

You will coordinate repairs, manage budgets for MRO, prepare BOMs, generate KPI reports, and ensure timely completion of tasks while aligning with safety and quality goals. A high school diploma and 3–5 years in maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Basic mechanical and electrical background.
• Ability to organize, plan, and schedule jobs.
• Experience with SAP maintenance system; 3–5 years desired.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Total Quality Management understanding and customer focus.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs and overhauls of equipment.
• Assist in the management of the MRO budget for the business unit, including reports.
• Organize and plan maintenance department jobs for a group of crafts.
• Review work at job sites, develop bill of materials, and submit requests for parts.
• Prepare and analyze periodic KPI reports related to backlog and PM programs.
• Enter and implement new PMs into the SAP CMMS system.
• Assign PMs, write and distribute work orders, and track completed PMs.
• Support failure analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan labor hours for safety and sanitation-related work orders.
