Job summary

Mmsteam in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler / Working Maintenance Technician. This hands-on leadership role balances planning with active maintenance on the plant floor to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, CMMS, or leadership preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with customers or production teams.
• Knowledge of PLCs, automation, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities.
• Coordinate maintenance with customer representatives and operations personnel.
• Create work orders and job plans including labor, tools, materials, and safety requirements.
• Maintain and prioritize maintenance backlogs within the CMMS.
• Track downtime, KPIs, and schedule compliance.
• Lead maintenance planning discussions and coordinate upcoming work.
• Ensure maintenance documentation is accurate and completed on time.
• Serve as the primary maintenance contact for the customer.
• Prioritize maintenance needs with production teams.
• Communicate schedules, status, and downtime.
• Build strong relationships through responsiveness and professionalism.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Diagnose issues and complete repairs.
• Support conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, drives, and other equipment.
• Assist with installations, upgrades, and reliability improvements.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergencies.
