Job summary

Roquette Laisa España SA is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for the Plaquemine, LA site. This role focuses on planning and safely executing daily maintenance activities, including TAR planning and coordinating with site leaders and contractors to achieve high reliability.

You will ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards, manage budgets, and lead maintenance weekly safety meetings. A strong background in Mechanical/Electrical maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical Technology certificate (2-year) or equivalent maintenance experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years SAP experience.
• Minimum 2 years planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation systems.
• Experience with Preventative/Predictive maintenance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand maintenance strategy and its impact on production and equipment availability.
• Coordinate maintenance work within scope and track expenditures.
• Assist in budgeting and escalate high-cost or emergency work.
• Verify equipment readiness and ensure proper work permissions.
• Plan Turnarounds and coordinate with leadership and operations.
• Schedule and manage PM15 and coordination with Production.
• Review weekly schedules and participate in scheduling meetings.
• Coach junior craftsmen and ensure safe, efficient work.
