Maintenance Planner / Scheduler / Parts Room Superintendent

Summary

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler/Parts Room Superintendent in Perry, GA. This position is critical to the ongoing success of our maintenance and reliability efforts. The Maintenance Planner / Scheduler / Parts Room Superintendent is responsible for managing efforts around identifying an executable work package, including work plan, materials, tools, permits, labor requirements, and developing a Time-Phased plan for execution aligned with reliability processes. This role also manages the parts room and associates, and involves inspecting work sites to ensure safety and work process considerations are incorporated into job plans.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance planning and scheduling activities, ensuring accurate data and work management using relevant software.
• Collaborates with maintenance, reliability, engineering, and external departments for efficient work plans.
• Provides asset maintenance scheduling, reporting, and recommends process improvements using Maximo CMMS or other software.
• Reviews work order status, data accuracy, and implements best practices for asset management.
• Coordinates IT interfaces with CMMS systems of other departments.
• Prepares maintenance forecast reports based on data and planning activities.
• Determines material needs, coordinates with Procurement and RS&S Operations, and advises staff accordingly.
• Maximizes asset downtime utilization for maintenance, developing policies and procedures.

Minimum Education

College degree or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of direct experience.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• Exposure to wet, moist floors, temperatures 28-100°F, humidity, noise, and chemicals typical in poultry and food processing environments. Must wear protective equipment as directed.
