Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to own the plant CMMS, plan and optimize maintenance, and drive reliability improvements.

You will coordinate preventive and corrective work, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and improve asset performance. The role requires 5+ years in maintenance planning, CMMS proficiency, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant maintenance/planning experience.
• CMMS proficiency with electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with data analysis capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret OEM manuals/drawings and lead projects.
• Export license considerations may apply; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate major preventive, proactive, and project maintenance activities, tracking reactive maintenance for efficiency.
• Screen incoming work orders to define scope, resources, and risks.
• Collaborate with plant teams to schedule work orders and ensure CMMS documentation is complete and accurate.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for maintenance management (PM compliance, workload backlog, safety).
• Assign asset IDs and criticality levels to legacy and new equipment before/at installation.
• Develop PM procedures and schedules in CMMS based on OEM recommendations and plant input.
• Coordinate maintenance and equipment engineering projects, overseeing parts flow for timely repairs and installations.
• Track RCA trends to reduce downtime and drive maintenance performance metrics.
