Job summary

Tyson Foods in Wilkesboro, NC seeks a Maintenance Planner to coordinate preventive maintenance and support hatchery/mill facilities with SAP-PM planning. You will create and modify plans, analyze equipment history, and drive reliability improvements across the site.

Responsibilities include maintaining SAP PM data, scheduling work orders, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and support teams to optimize maintenance labor and downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• At least two years in-house mechanical experience.
• Proficiency in SAP and basic Microsoft Office.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of parts room procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance activities and develop SAP-PM plans for hatchery/mill operations.
• Maintain SAP PM data and reporting; analyze data for maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Support enterprise-wide Best Practice preventative maintenance and equipment history reviews.
• Coordinate scheduled downtime and parts availability; optimize labor utilization.
• Interface with engineering, Operations Support, and other departments on projects and CIR development.
