Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Planner to coordinate the estimating and planning of mechanical and electrical work, ensuring timely completion and accurate procurement for work orders. The role supports the area supervisor and maintenance technicians while maintaining SAP backlog and safe operation.

The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree or equivalent, 5+ years maintenance experience, 2+ years planning experience, and up to 15%

Qualifications

Associates degree or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of Maintenance experience.
Minimum of 2 years of Maintenance Planning experience with knowledge of recognized maintenance planning practices.
Up to 15% local travel requirement.

Responsibilities

Support planning activities for the area supervisor and area maintenance technicians.
Create job plans for repetitive maintenance procedures.
Manage SAP work order backlog for area of responsibility, including mechanical and electrical work orders.
Attend/participate in all area safety related meetings/initiatives.
Plan, estimate cost and completion time, schedule jobs in area of responsibility.
Order and manage parts for work orders.
Enter requisitions (material and service).
Entering PM’s into FIIX system and tracking PM performance.
