Key Responsibilities
- Supports the maintenance department in coordinating both planned and unplanned work for a 24/7 facility with over 500,00 sq. ft.
- Assists in keeping up with the weekly maintenance schedule and KPI’s
- Assist with maintenance tracking spend against the monthly maintenance budget
- Orders and track parts needed for the maintenance projects
- Maintains SAP BOM and Function location information for the equipment
- Fills-in for maintenance supervisor when absent
- Schedules and coordinates outside vendors for repairs and service evaluations
- Assists and/or leads Project planning tasks in the following areas:
- Job scoping
- Estimation of time, materials, and resources
- Material procurement
- Weekly planning meetings
- Assigning work and creating schedules in SAP
- Documenting and completing the close of projects

- Works closely with the Maintenance staff, Operations Managers, Purchasing, and Storeroom to develop daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance schedules as well as other planned outages
Job Specification
- Minimum of 2 years planning and scheduling experience. Preferably in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing operations, maintenance or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Previous experience with SAP is a plus.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as strong computer skills required.
Travel/Flexibility
- This position will require occasional weekend coverage.
- This position may be required to travel to other facilities for best practice benchmarking (~1 time per year).
Physical Demands
This job often requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time at a desk performing computer work. It will also require at times to be out on the production floor to walk through manufacturing areas for research, questioning or collecting data to plan for upcoming projects.
