Job summary

DCO Energy, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Bay City, MI area to plan, schedule, and direct facility maintenance tasks, manage procurement and inventory, and coordinate outages to minimize impact on operations. This role collaborates with all teams to ensure timely, safe completion of maintenance projects.

The position requires experience in power/industrial settings, CMMS proficiency, ability to read P&IDs, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of relevant experience, including at least five years in a skilled trade.
• Formal training in energy or process equipment and systems is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and CMMS familiarity.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs and communicate tasks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct facility maintenance tasks.
• Procurement, delivery, and inventory control for maintenance projects.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and impact on operations.
• Provide interface and direction for contractor personnel and supervise team members.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintenance on environmental monitoring equipment is compliant.
