Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Clarksville, TX to plan and prepare maintenance work, ensuring safety and efficiency while minimizing production impact. The role links maintenance with operations, purchasing, and other departments by defining work orders, coordinating materials, and maintaining PM programs.

You will manage both future work and day-to-day emergencies, ensuring technicians have the necessary parts, tools, and information before work begins.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background in maintenance planning or supervision preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance development beneficial.
• Experience with MaintainX or CMMS software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare maintenance work to ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Develop detailed work orders with clear descriptions and steps.
• Identify labor, tools, parts, materials, and documentation needed.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and PM frequencies.
• Create and maintain CMMS records and work orders.
• Coordinate with purchasing, storeroom, and maintenance teams.
• Provide accurate labor and duration estimates for scheduling.
• Support continuous improvement of PM procedures and task instructions.
