Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Battle Creek, MI. The role focuses on planning outages, coordinating repairs, and maintaining equipment availability.

You will screen work orders, prepare detailed job packages, and ensure documentation at project completion. The ideal candidate has a background in Pulp and Paper with strong planning skills, MS Project experience, and a disciplined safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-10 years in Pulp and Paper industry preferred.
• Experience in project management and planning, predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience with JDE, MS Project, Word, Excel preferred.

Responsabilités

• Screen incoming work orders and determine basic job requirements and planning needs.
• Prepare job packages with detailed information for craftsmen.
• Audit repairs and ensure proper documentation at job completion.
• Plan and schedule unit outages using MS Project; build integrated outage schedules.
