Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an I/E Maintenance Planner to plan and schedule maintenance for a defined area within our manufacturing facilities. This fast-paced role requires collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams to optimize outage work and ensure safety standards are integrated in daily activities.

The role emphasizes cost forecasting, vendor management, and development of precise job plans for complex equipment, with SAP-PM and Primavera proficiency highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 5+ years in industrial manufacturing OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead and coordinate with multiple teams
• Experience with IT tools to forecast and monitor outage metrics (work hours, task progression)
• Experience in Primavera scheduling; project management experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of an organization; safety integrated into work activities
• Proficient in SAP-PM, Six Sigma tools and Lean concepts

Responsibilities

• Estimate and initiate work orders for mechanical and electrical/instrumentation; forecast cost variance for outages
• Procure equipment, materials and outside services with focus on fixed-price packages
• Manage repairs, purchases, invoices, and receipts for outage work
• Develop and update job plans for specific repairs and equipment
• Audit shop papers and job history forms for mechanical maintenance
• Coordinate with Area Coordinators on daily activities and priorities
• Oversee contractors; coordinate nested contractors; ensure safety integration
• Review backlog outage notices in SAP and progress P4 work orders ahead of outages
• Maintain maintenance documentation and kitting for outages
• Other duties as required
