Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an I/E Maintenance Planner to organize and schedule maintenance activities in our manufacturing facilities. This fast-paced role requires coordination with area coordinators, contractors, and internal teams to drive outage work from planning to execution.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years in industrial settings or a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, plus strong skills in SAP-PM and Primavera.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment OR Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience in Primavera planning/scheduling
• Project management experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate repairs
• Knowledgeable in repair techniques for equipment
• Able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong computer skills
• Must be highly motivated and self-directed

Responsibilities

• Estimate and initiate work orders for mechanical and E/I; forecast cost variance for outages
• Procure equipment, materials and outside services
• Manage repairs, purchases, invoices and receipts for outages
• Develop and update job plans for repairs and equipment
• Audit and retain shop papers and job history forms
• Communicate with Area Coordinators / Mechanical FLS on priorities
• Oversee contractors and nested contractors
• Bill materials as required for outages
• Review backlog outage notifications in SAP and progress P4 work orders
• Develop mechanical maintenance documentation
