Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years of experience at a mining/mineral processing facility or heavy industry, preferably in a union environment.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Organize incoming work orders into defined, planned work packages.
• Develop and document work procedures and scopes using Ellipse system.
• Identify, specify, and order required contract labor, parts, tooling, and equipment to complete the work plan.
• Build parts and standard jobs resource library.
• Ensure all department work is performed safely to meet MSHA standards.
• Promote teamwork and high-performance standards within the department.
• Coordinate daily/weekly maintenance plans with all affected parties.
• Develop short- and long-range maintenance plans and budgets.
• Ensure timely closure of work orders with supervisors.
