Job summary

Teck Resources Limited seeks a Maintenance Planner for Red Dog Operations in Alaska. You will provide thorough maintenance job plans and schedules to enable safe execution of work, with a 2-week on/off rotation and on-site work arrangements at the Red Dog Mine.

This role requires extensive maintenance planning experience, strong safety leadership, and the ability to coordinate with trades, reliability, and operations teams to forecast costs and develop long‑term maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson/Maintenance background with 10 years industrial maintenance experience, or 5 years planning plus 5 years industrial maintenance.
• Maintenance planning experience with large reciprocating engines (Wartsila/MTU/Caterpillar) is essential.
• Strong communication and safety leadership are required.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive maintenance job plans and schedules for safe, effective work.
• Manage work order backlogs and pre-job requirements (parts, labor, permits, drawings).
• Develop and maintain a 13-week master schedule focusing on equipment criticality.
