Job summary

Teck Resources Limited, Red Dog Operations, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to deliver comprehensive maintenance job plans and schedules enabling safe, efficient work. The role emphasizes thorough pre-job planning, parts and resource coordination, and cost forecasting for mine facilities and equipment.

The position supports a two‑weeks‑on/two‑weeks‑off rotation, focusing on fixed asset maintenance of diesel engines and generators, collaborating with trades and reliability teams to drive

Qualifications

• Journeyperson maintenance or 5+ years in planning plus 5+ years industrial maintenance
• Experience with large reciprocating engines (Wartsila, MTU, Caterpillar) preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and manage time with limited supervision

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and scheduling of maintenance work to ensure safety and efficiency
• Manage work order backlogs and ensure accurate scoping for planned work orders
• Develop 13-week master schedule focusing on equipment criticality and proper work identification
• Coordinate with schedulers and maintenance teams to forecast long‑term needs and costs
• Support maintenance supervisors and apprentices, and mentor NANA shareholders
• Track KPIs for planning activities and drive continuous improvement
