Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Oxnard, CA facility. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance work to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency across the paper mill.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in maintenance planning or related fields, proficiency with CMMS, and strong ability to read technical drawings and maintenance procedures. Travel ~15% across the US/Canada/Mexico is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance planning, maintenance supervision, reliability, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience using a CMMS.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance work to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency.
• Review, prioritize, and plan work orders generated through Maximo or similar CMMS.
• Develop detailed job plans with labor, durations, tools, permits, and materials.
• Coordinate weekly and daily maintenance schedules with operations, supervisors, and contractors.
• Ensure all planned work packages include documentation, procedures, drawings, and safety requirements.
• Track and report maintenance KPIs and improve planning processes.
