Job summary

Dover’s Vehicle Service Group (VSG) is seeking a Maintenance Planner Technician for our Madison, Indiana site. This hands-on role coordinates maintenance activities, performs preventive tasks, and supports production uptime by planning work with CMMS and coordinating with maintenance leadership.

The position requires strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, PLC knowledge, and experience with CMMS and ERP systems. Onsite work in a fast-paced plant environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience with planning/scheduling.
Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC, and relay logic.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain CMMS; create and track work orders.
Coordinate planned maintenance with production and operations.
Plan labor, parts, and downtime to minimize impact on production.
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
