Job summary

Dover Vehicle Service Group (VSG) seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and reliability of facilities and production systems in Madison, Indiana. You’ll direct installation, repair and preventive maintenance, supervise the maintenance team, and coordinate with safety, engineering, and operations to keep equipment available.

You will train staff, enforce OSHA safety rules, and optimize spare parts inventory and CMMS processes to improve uptime and productivity.

Qualifications

Associate degree with two years supervisor experience or equivalent.
Strong electrical, mechanical and problem-solving skills.
Spare parts management experience with CMMS knowledge.
Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance activities for facilities and infrastructure.
Supervise maintenance technicians and assign daily tasks.
Manage spare parts inventory, cycle counts and vendor coordination.
Ensure safety and OSHA compliance; train staff and conduct performance appraisals.
Collaborate with engineering and quality on maintenance resource needs.
