Job summary

N3B in Los Alamos, NM seeks a Maintenance Planner 3/4 to develop work packages for corrective and preventive maintenance under ISMS. You will define scope, perform JHA, determine controls, and route the package to SMEs for approval, documenting required tools and materials for safe execution.

This role reports to the Integrated Work Control Program Manager and requires CMMS proficiency, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to lead portions of complex tasks.

Qualifications

• Proficient in facility maintenance planning incl. systems engineering, safety/authorization basis, CM, and upgrades.
• Strong researching and problem-solving skills for complex maintenance issues.
• Understanding of hazard analysis, ISMS and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to lead tasks with broad objectives and develop new processes.
• Experience with CMMS and DOE nuclear environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical work instructions for corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Interface with requester to define the scope of work.
• Serve as SME for Integrated Work Control Process.
• Facilitate scoping and hazard analysis walkdowns with SMEs.
• Identify Lock Out/Tag Out procedures as needed.
• Involve SMEs during review/approval and incorporate feedback.
• Own the work package from initiation to close out.
• Execute Change Control when revisions are required.
• Use CMMS to status and track work packages.
• Participate in schedule meetings for status updates.
