Job summary

Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos LLC is seeking a Maintenance Planner 2/3 in Los Alamos, NM to develop and manage maintenance work packages within ISMS framework. You will interface with task requestors, lead scoping, and coordinate SMEs for safe execution and compliance.

The role emphasizes CMMS usage, scheduling, and documentation from initiation through closeout, with salary commensurate with experience and education.

Qualifications

• Experience with facility maintenance planning and related systems engineering.
• Knowledge of ISMS implementation and OSHA requirements for safe work performance.
• Ability to lead tasks or small projects and to work with broad objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical work instructions for Corrective and Preventive Maintenance per ISMS principles.
• Interface with Work Task requester to define scope of work.
• Serve as SME for Integrated Work Control Process and facilitate JHA walkdowns.
• Engage SMEs to identify LOTO procedures as needed.
• Own work package from initiation to closeout and manage records disposition.
• Execute Change Control when revisions are needed and track through CMMS.
• Participate in schedule meetings to update work package status.
