Job summary

The Mundy Companies, a leader in industrial maintenance, services and construction, seeks a Maintenance Planner in the Gaveston area to coordinate labor, parts, tools, and permits for the maintenance team. You will monitor all preventive, routine, repair, and emergency activities using SAP as the primary tool.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
• Three-to-five years of Millwright experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Create, review, plan, schedule, and close work orders daily.
• Coordinate activities between operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, vendors, and others.
• Work with departments to define scope and priority of work and schedule accordingly.
• Order materials and submit Purchase Order Requests.
• Create/modify assets within SAP and maintain PM requirements.
• Track tradesmen, technician feedback, and asset downtime.
• Distribute weekly PMs and schedule in-scope project work to minimize production impact.

The Mundy Companies,a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring for the followingposition in the Gaveston, Texasarea:

MAINTENANCE PLANNER

3-5 years Millwrightexperience required

The role of Maintenance Plannerwill be to coordinate labor, parts and material, tools and equipment, required permits, specialized documentation, and equipment access for the maintenance team. The Maintenance Plannermonitors all preventive, routine, repair, and emergency maintenance activities at the plant, using SAPas a primary tool. Duties included but not limited to are:

• Creates, reviews, plans, schedules, and closes work orders on a daily basis
• Coordinates activities between operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, vendors, and other agencies as necessary
• Work with all departments to define scope and priority of work and schedule accordingly
• Order materials
• Submit Purchase Order Request
• Creates/modifies assets within SAP
• Creates/maintains preventative maintenance requirements and records
• Tracks all tradesmen and technician feedback on all work orders
• Tracks voucheredwork hours and asset downtime
• Distributes weekly PMs to maintain crews
• Schedules in scope project work to minimize impact on production
• Coordinates with maintenance crews to estimate planned labor hours and schedule work
• Required to perform additional tasks as required that are reasonable and safe

Requirements for the position are:

• Proficient with SAP
• At least five years equivalent experience planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
• Three-to-five years experience as a Millwright working in an industrial environment.
• Excellent computer software skills to include but not be limited to: various Microsoft Windows and Office generations (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
