Overview

Join a team that's changing the world! We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to contribute to our innovative Li-ion battery factory in Kansas City. This is a full-time, on-site role based in DeSoto, Kansas, focused on implementing and managing maintenance activities using our new computerized maintenance management system, Panasonic PanaCIM.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Planner will coordinate workflows between production and maintenance, review schedules, prioritize tasks, and help shift the maintenance department towards a proactive approach. Key duties include:

• Preparing maintenance schedules based on staff skills and work order specifications.
• Coordinating maintenance activities within PanaCIM, including preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Ensuring resource availability and managing work order audits.
• Integrating new equipment into the maintenance system and developing reports using KPIs.
• Managing emergency repairs and screening incoming work requests.
• Adhering to industry best practices and continuously improving system use.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED, or 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance planner.
• Mechanical aptitude, effective planning skills, and self-motivation.
• Experience with asset management, manufacturing equipment troubleshooting, and SAP software.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred:

• Experience with enterprise asset management software, Manufacturing Execution Systems, and Palantir.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.

Physical and Other Requirements

Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and lift up to 35 lbs. PPE may include safety gear and hazmat suits as needed. Pre-employment drug testing is required.
