Job description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for expediting work orders and requests, schedule both routine and non-routine electrical and maintenance related projects.
  • Primary responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of the information on the new maintenance work orders, determining parts and material requirements, providing a written job plan, cost estimate to include labor, and materials so as to complete work in the most efficient manner possible. Communicates information in the Job Plan Package to the Maintenance Foreman or Supervisor and other Maintenance Planners .
  • Work with the Reliability team and PMC to plan and schedule all maintenance work (downtime and uptime) based on priority and manpower availability.
  • To complete all feedback in a timely manner to allow the scheduling of both routine and non-routine related projects and prepare required equipment and parts to be completed in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Work with the rest of the Reliability group to organize a Library of job plans and safety permits.
  • Ability to lead others on upcoming projects.
  • Carry out special projects and assignments as directed by the supervisor.
  • Support administration of the plant’s RPM Program.
  • Maintain open communication with internal customers regarding the RPM Program effectiveness problems impacting its implementation.
  • Primary responsibility for ensuring that all information needed to support the planning process is complete, accurate and readily available to everyone.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work safely.
  • Must have some working knowledge of plant equipment, operations, and maintenance activities. Electrical and General plant maintenance aptitude is a plus
  • Must have proficient computer skills including use MS Office applications.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Knowledge of EAM and Oracle is a plus.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret prints and drawings.
  • Able to be a self-starter and complete tasks with little guidance or supervision.
  • Must possess strong communication skills in interactions with all levels of personnel, vendors, and contractors.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be a people and results-oriented individual who incorporates and emphasizes safety and quality in all aspects of the daily work environment.
  • The ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
