Nestlé in Allentown, PA is seeking a Maintenance Planner to schedule the Maintenance and Engineering team and to prepare efficient work plans across Preventive, Predictive, Condition-Based, and Project/Backlog work. You will ensure parts availability, coordinate with the Production Scheduler, and support repair staff with guidance.

Qualifications include a HS Diploma or GED and 2+ years in maintenance planning or scheduling within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Coordinate execution of the plan in conjunction with the production schedule through working with the Production Scheduler in a timely manner.
  • Access, understand, and base decisions on information of all types in the CMMS system.
  • Support the Line Mechanics and Technicians by providing expert guidance and maintains open flow of communication up and down the maintenance chain.
  • Serve as an NCE Facilitator, championing AMM, tracking results, and pushing for execution of improvement projects.
  • Initiate focused projects based on Maintenance trends, and participating in process improvement initiatives.

We utilize thermal processing and high-speed canning to produce varieties of our Friskies®, Beneful® and Pro Plan® brands—product lines that we have carefully produced, packaged, and shipped since 1958. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for scheduling the work activity of the Maintenance and Engineering Team. This position prepares efficient work plans for all Preventive, Predicative, Condition-Based, and Project/Backlog Maintenance work. This position will also ensure internal and external labor resources are available and coordinate work in conjunction with the Production Scheduler in a timely manner.
