Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to drive operational excellence across departments and shifts, providing technical leadership, assigning tasks, and ensuring teams have tools, supplies, and equipment to succeed.

Safety is the top priority; you will promote safe practices, address personnel, mechanical, and resource challenges, manage labor and material costs, and oversee SAP-based work orders while ensuring GMP compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of Utilities, Facilities, or Production equipment maintenance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience, including proven experience coaching and team development.
  • CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification or direct experience in maintenance planning and/or supervision is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive, productive environment where each associate can fully contribute and be valued.
  • Train and develop associates. Clearly explain and check to make sure others understand what is expected. Build confidence in associates and provide one on one as well as team coaching.
  • Provide information and resources to the team to make decisions and solve problems. Keeps team members apprised regarding administrative matters, policy, procedures, team/department performance and other work-related matters that affect them through team meetings, shift start-up meetings, and one-on-one contacts.
  • Drafts procedures, schedule team members work schedules in Kronos, schedules vacations. Fills out supply requests, maintenance requests and other administrative forms.
  • Guide the team to reduce technical stoppages in equipment or areas of common occurrence (priority given to areas of highest incidence or impact). Ensure the systematic review of all processes, and utilities that are critical to the business and those where failure can have an unacceptable impact on safety, personnel safety, food safety, environment, or compliance with the law.
  • Monitor plant/equipment trends to ensure best possible operation and reduction of planned/unplanned downtime.
  • Propose and monitor key performance indicators in accordance with the Best Maintenance Practices.
  • Facilitate the evolution/refinement of Maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime (PM’s, changeovers, etc.).
  • Support site as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:
