Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC seeks a Maintenance Performance Leader for Palatka, FL to drive safety, reliability and performance of maintenance equipment. You will lead a Mechanical Maintenance team, coach technicians, and partner with maintenance, operations and engineering to develop short- and long-term strategies.

Responsibilities include implementing best practices, planning weekly schedules, prioritizing safety work orders, and leading continuous improvement across the mill.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher.
• 3+ years mechanical maintenance in industrial/military env.
• Leadership with direct reports in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with reliability concepts and maintenance best practices.
• Experience with SAP or other CMMS and maintenance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the mechanical maintenance team and implement best practices.
• Plan and manage weekly maintenance schedules from planned work.
• Prioritize safety work orders and PM tasks while managing resources and work orders.
• Investigate injuries and ensure RCA and incident reports are completed.
• Use economic thinking to fill resource gaps and drive performance.
• Motivate hourly staff to improve team and plant performance.
