Job summary

Southern Core Recycling in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance and Parts Clerk to ensure the smooth flow of parts, supplies, work orders, inventory, and maintenance documentation. The role supports uptime by keeping accurate records and coordinating with vendors.

You will also cross-train for the cashier position, receive and track inventory, organize storage areas, and assist maintenance staff with administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and track orders.
• Cross-training for cashier position may be required.

Responsibilities

• Order parts, supplies, and materials for maintenance and repair.
• Receive, issue, record, and track movement of parts and inventory.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and conduct routine counts/audits.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and availability.
• Ensure documentation of all inventory transactions and maintenance records.
• Organize and maintain parts storage areas for safe access.
• Schedule and coordinate pickup/delivery of parts as needed.
• Maintain equipment files in physical and electronic forms.
• Assist maintenance staff with administrative and inventory tasks.
• Cashier on Saturday and fill in when needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
