Job summary

Noble House Hotels & Resorts' Mission Bay Resort in San Diego is seeking a Maintenance I/Painter to upkeep guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas to the highest appearance. The role involves painting, repairs and completing work orders to meet premium hospitality standards.

You will contribute to a fast-paced environment with morning, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts, ensuring safety and cleanliness while supporting team goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years painting and wallpaper experience, including tile and drywall knowledge.
• Experience installing and preparing drywall and plaster surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Paint, maintain and repair painted surfaces throughout the hotel and facilities.
• Complete daily job assignments and work orders.
• Prioritize and move between assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests in a timely and friendly manner.
• Keep maintenance supplies cataloged, stocked, and orderly.
• Assist other maintenance team members with special projects.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and areas as assigned.

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a sprawling 357-room resort, boasting multiple dining options, a beautiful, pool, a kid’s pool, astonishing Bay views, fire pits and so much more. We are excited to welcome a new Maintenance I / Painter to our Mission Bay Family.

The JOB:

As a Maintenance 1/ Painter you will help ensure that all areas of the resort are maintained to the highest appearance and working condition. Maintain the Guest rooms, public space, and back of the house areas to ensure they are presentable and in good working order.

• Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the hotel and facilities.
• Complete daily job assignments and work orders in a professional and timely manner.
• Have the ability to maintain fast-paced position that will involve prioritization and moving from assignment to assignment as the need presents itself.
• Reply to all Guest maintenance requests in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
• Keep maintenance supplies cataloged, stocked, and orderly.
• Assist other maintenance Team Members with special projects as needed and assigned.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, guest rooms, public areas or equipment as assigned.

Requirements

A qualified candidate will have previous professional painting & maintenance experience with knowledge of multiple different maintenance specialties including:

• Minimum of 3 years painting and wallpaper background, including Tile and Drywall knowledge.
• Knowledge and experience in installing and preparing drywall and plaster surfaces.
