Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Florida to oversee the maintenance of equipment, production lines, and facilities, and to define maintenance plans in collaboration with the Engineering team. You will manage technical documentation, solve major problems to improve performance and energy efficiency, maintain tools, and propose improvements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Industrial Electrical Power Experience.
  • Experience in the maintenance of main electrical systems, incoming power, and power distribution.
  • Authorized to work in the US legally.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
  • Defines maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consults on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities, in collaboration with the Engineering team.
  • Manages and updates technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
  • Solves major technical, equipment, or facilities problems in order to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
  • Maintains tools and repairs equipment in good working condition.
  • Proposes improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
  • Responds to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.
