Job summary

ABB is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to support the maintenance team on site. You will perform daily maintenance activities, follow guidelines, and help increase equipment and production line efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with maintenance trade or technical training.
  • Minimum of 3 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Commitment to working safely and performing a quality job every time.

Maintenance Technician A
Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line.

The work model for the role is: onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Responding to emergencies/breakdowns.
  • Reporting all recurring problems with machinery and equipment.
  • Outlining problems with parts that can be identified and addressed for record-keeping.
  • Setting calibration and adjusting equipment, machinery, and instruments to comply with production specifications and instructions.
Qualifications for the role
  • Education/Degree and Level: High School Diploma or GED, with additional maintenance trade or technical training.
  • Years and Type of Experience: Minimum of 3 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic. Committed to working safely and performing a quality job every time.
