Job summary

Promega Corporation in Madison, WI seeks a detail‑oriented Plant Maintenance support specialist to manage SAP work orders, master data, and vendor coordination. The role focuses on preventive/demand maintenance, inventory control, and data reporting to sustain production uptime.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Facilities to execute maintenance with reliability, safety, and compliance in mind, using ERP tools and digital workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1-3 years experience in engineering, facilities, and/or maintenance.
• Experience with ERP/CMMS facilities and maintenance software.
• Strong computer, system, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt work schedule to production needs.
• Experience working with general contractors and vendors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft apps and digital tools, incl. AI.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, generate, and monitor SAP notifications and work orders for Plant Maintenance.
• Create and maintain SAP Master Data (Functional Locations, Equipment, BOMs, Maintenance Plans).
• Ensure on-time completion of preventive and demand maintenance in SAP.
• Coordinate service visits with vendors.
• Manage spare parts inventory and support purchases.
• Generate reports from SAP data.
