Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a driven Maintenance Operations Manager to own equipment reliability for Starlink’s high-volume production lines in Bastrop, Texas. You will lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and associates to maximize machine availability, uptime, and overall OEE while driving continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing environment.
3+ years in electronics/high-volume manufacturing.
2+ years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and associates to achieve maximum machine availability, throughput, and OEE.
Design and build systems to track and execute maintenance tasks with minimal uptime impact.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions with asset owners and engineers.
Manage spare parts inventory, justify capex for upgrades, and support refurbishments.
Provide design-for-manufacturability feedback on layouts and equipment.
Mentor staff on downtime prevention, troubleshooting, and disciplined operations.
Ensure maintenance coverage across all shifts and develop supervisors.
Maintain organized, efficient team spaces and complete admin tasks (reviews, training, timecards).
