Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Machine Maintenance Supervisor for Starlink production in Texas. You will lead a multi-skilled technician team, develop PM plans, and partner with engineering to keep assets reliable and productive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in lean manufacturing, and proven ability to drive data-based improvements. Willingness to work multiple shifts and weekend hours is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years in machining/maintenance/production.
• 1+ years of experience directly leading a team or project.

Responsibilities

• Lead the build-out and development of a high-performing team of multi-skilled technicians.
• Establish and refine Preventive Maintenance (PM) work plans and schedules for all assets.
• Collaborate with engineers to define corrective maintenance strategies and PM schedules.
• Partner with engineering to evaluate and implement improvements for production operations.
• Build and manage a spares inventory strategy tailored to equipment types.
• Coordinate with the scheduler to assign technicians to PM work.
• Oversee maintenance execution, including emergency breakdowns.
• Lead hands-on troubleshooting and technical decision-making as needed.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders at every stage.
• Develop KPIs (Uptime, OEE, MTTR) to drive data-based decisions.
• Verify maintenance completion and restore assets to spec.
• Identify residual risks and prevent recurrence.
• Lead root cause analysis and deliver learning reports.
• Assign skills to jobs and maintain a skills matrix.
• Manage daily activity logging and shift utilization.
