Job summary

SpaceX, based in Bastrop, TX, is seeking a Machine Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multi-skilled team supporting Starlink production. You will establish preventive maintenance plans, coordinate with engineering, and drive reliability improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will champion maintenance metrics such as Uptime and OEE, manage spare parts, and ensure safe, timely completion of maintenance work across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience in machining, maintenance, or production/manufacturing; OR 5+ years of professional experience in machining, maintenance, or production/manufacturing
• 1+ years of experience directly leading a team or project

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-skilled technician team supporting Starlink production
• Establish PM work plans and schedules for all assets
• Collaborate with engineers and planners on maintenance strategies and schedules
• Partner with engineering to evaluate and implement solutions that improve production operations
• Build and manage a spares inventory strategy
• Coordinate with the scheduler to assign technicians and contractors
• Oversee maintenance execution including emergencies and ensure timely resolution
• Communicate progress and status to stakeholders at every stage
• Develop KPIs (Uptime, OEE, MTTR) to drive data-based decisions
