Job summary

Cencora in the United States (California) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its distribution operations. You will lead a small team, ensure preventive maintenance of MHE and building systems, and coordinate with vendors to keep downtime to a minimum.

The role requires five years in automated warehouses, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and experience with PLCs. You may work nights, weekends, and be on call to respond to downtime events.

Qualifications

• BS degree preferred with extensive experience startup and troubleshooting of automated distribution warehouse.
• Minimum 5 years in automated distribution warehouse with large volume operations.
• Experience developing preventive maintenance programs and disaster planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a small team focusing on preventive maintenance plans for facility equipment and MHE.
• Directs workflow, trains and monitors maintenance warehouse associates.
• Diagnoses errors in the facility and performs repairs to support operations.
• Schedules and executes ongoing preventive maintenance for buildings and equipment.
• Monitors processes and recommends changes to improve productivity and costs.
• Ensures equipment operates efficiently and addresses HVAC, conveyors, and forklifts.
• Maintains records of maintenance tasks, parts inventory and tools.
• Coordinates with external maintenance vendors when needed.
• Assists in configuring and upgrading MHE control systems including PLCs.
