Job summary

Texas Department of Transportation’s Tyler District is seeking a Maintenance Office Support Tech I–III for the Longview Maintenance Office. This role keeps the office running day to day, assisting with phone calls, meetings, onboarding, orders and procurement, data entry, timesheets, and other essential functions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of administrative or clerical support, customer service, or related experience for Tech II.
• 3 years in administrative or clerical support, customer service, or related experience for Tech III.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and evaluate requests; route messages and assist as receptionist.
• Maintain office files, records, and logs; support purchasing, travel information, and contracts.
• Prepare monthly and final maintenance contract estimates; assist in reports and data entry.
• Lead tasks may be assigned; coordinate with district personnel on inventory and supplies.
