Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a Maintenance Millwright for its Salt Lake City, UT location. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing and installing complex manufacturing equipment, with emphasis on drive systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and safe operating practices.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of heavy industrial experience; journeyman status is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Five years of recent experience in a heavy industrial setting; journeyman preferred.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and blueprints/drawings.
Ability to write routine reports and use basic computer functions.
Ability to speak effectively before colleagues.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair complex deficiencies in manufacturing/facility equipment.
Install and ensure new/modified production equipment operates as designed.
Perform preventive maintenance to prolong equipment life and reduce costs.
Ensure products meet customer specifications and expectations.
Work in a team to reach consensus within Hexcel guidelines and maintain good coworker relationships.
Follow OSHA safety practices and Lock-out-Tag-out procedures.
Operate in compliance with Hexcel Salt Lake Quality System and Policy.
Follow company policies and Code of Business Conduct.
