Job summary

WorkNovaX seeks a skilled Millwright to join our Arizona team. You will troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment in line with plant policies and safety standards. You’ll perform preventive maintenance to prevent downtime and work with operations to prioritize needs.

You will read diagrams and manuals, follow manufacturer specifications and ensure precise installation and alignment. A strong track record in hydraulics, pneumatics and welding is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years journeyman millwright experience
• Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics
• Fabrication, torch cutting and arc welding
• Reading blueprints and precision measurements
• Precision installation and alignment
• Troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors, rollers, pulleys and shafts

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment per plant policies
• Perform preventive maintenance to identify mechanical defects
• Collaborate with operations to prioritize maintenance needs
• Repair machinery including motors, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Read diagrams and manuals for installations
• Uphold safety and environmental guidelines
• Support targets for production, waste and quality through maintenance

Job description

Our client is currently seeking a Millwright to join their team.

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment in compliance with all plant policies and procedures
• Perform periodic maintenance to identify and correct mechanical defects before they lead to equipment failures and downtime
• Work with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs
• Troubleshoot and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment to include but not limited to motors, pneumatic & hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production line equipment
• Read diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturers' specifications for installations
• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participating in safety program
• Help to meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals through a quality maintenance program

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years or more of Journey-level millwright experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience with fabricating, torch cutting, and arc welding
• Experience with reading blueprints and precision measurements
• Experience with precision installation and alignment
• Experience troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors, rollers, pulleys, and shafts
