Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a maintenance technician to install, maintain and repair plant machinery, electrical systems, and infrastructure. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting pumps, boilers, steam, water, hydraulics, and pneumatics to ensure safe operation.

It requires strong mechanical aptitude, welding and electrical experience, PLC knowledge, and good communication skills. Shift includes swing hours; overtime and weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Extensive mechanical experience and aptitude required.
• Experience with welding, electrical work, boilers, refrigeration, and machinery repair.
• PLC troubleshooting and programming experience.
• Strong analytical and computer skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, structures and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plant and facility equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair pumps, boilers, steam, water, hydraulics, pneumatics and other fluid systems.
• Work with minimal supervision; overtime or weekend work may be required.
